Lot of two Currier & Ives prints reproduced for Remington Arms in 1945. The original drawings were made at the Great International Rifle Match in Ireland in July 1875, which became known for the unusual shooting positions. Two prints, one titled, ‘The Highland Fling. A Bonnie Shot for a Canny Scot.’ and the other, ‘The Queen’s Own! Wimbledon Style!!’ Includes original description sheet with prints with Remington and DuPont logos at bottom margin. 20.5 x 17 inches. ‘Highland Fling’ has 1.75-inch tear, minor tear on right edge, and minor sunning. ‘Queen’s Own’ has minor creases and tears at edges.
