Scarce Jewish Winter Aid Berlin (Judische Winterhilfe Berlin) shoulder patch, 3.25 inches diameter. A white cloth embroidered with a light blue Star of David, a pair of shaking hands with the name of the association in gold. The Jewish Winter Aid was an aid organization of Jewish communities and associations that was financed by donations and taxes from Jewish taxpayers in order to be able to provide support to those in need. The organization was formed at the end of 1935 after the Winter Aid Organization of the German People had excluded the so-called full Jews from all services.
