Original American Overseas Airlines travel poster ‘AOA to USA – There’s Always Sunshine above the Clouds’, artwork by Jan Le Witt (1907-1991) and George Him (1900-1982). American Overseas Airways, printed in England by W.R. Roye & Son, 1948, 24 x 38 inches. Light creases and tears on left edge, light horizontal bends, lightly fold at bottom right corner. Else very good with dramatic graphic. American Overseas Airlines was an airline that operated between the United States and Europe between 1945 and 1950. It was headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
