Black robe featuring the skull and crossbones insignia of the Odd Fellows. The robe buttons up the front with the skull and crossbones patch on the right breast with a black hood with eye cut-outs. The robe is tied with a black rope and has a beige inside lining at the upper back. Buttons on the robe maker’s marked with ‘U.S.F.’ Not dated. The Odd Fellows are an international fraternity consisting of lodges first documented in 1730 in London, similar to the Freemasons. 53 inches, shoulders to hem. 18 inches, shoulder to shoulder. Minor seam frays.
