1860s cut-off sword with metal scabbard. Sword has leather grip with braided aluminum and brass pommel. Sharpened sword has partially illegible maker’s mark, ‘USA – ACK – 1863’. Crossguard has pitting and is bent. Scabbard has rust spots. Overall length is 18.5 inches. Blade is 12.25 inches.
