Light Cavalry sword with engraved blade and hilt. Blade has single fuller with engraved text that reads, ‘In Faithfulness’ (‘In Treue Fest’). Makers marked by ‘W.K. & C.’ Sword has plastic black grip with loss where the grip meets the pommel, exposing the wood structure underneath. Knuckle guard and pommel have filigree and plant engravings and exhibit pitting. Top edge of blade engraved and reads, ‘J.M. Pauschinger – Nuremberg’. Blade exhibits minor pitting. Blade length is 30.25 inches. Overall length is 35.75 inches.
