K.M. Bismarck’ by Robert Taylor, Military Gallery, Bath, England, 1980, 20 x 24 inches, signed by Robert Taylor and Baron von Mullenheim-Rechberg, gunnery officer for the K.M. Bismarck. The German battleship KM Bismarck was launched in 1939. She was damaged in battle by the HMS Hood and sixteen Fairey Swordfish biplane torpedo bombers and was finally sunk by the battleships Rodney and King George V in May 1941. Baron von Muellenheim-Rechberg (1910-2003) was the highest-ranking survivor of the Bismarck. Minor damage at top edge, otherwise good condition.
