A Meissen Boettger red stoneware urn with eagle relief on the front. The reverse shows the translated words ‘Your Life an Eagle’s Flight, Your Fight an Eagle’s Courage! 1936’. Maker’s marked on the bottom, ‘Boettger Steinzeug’ and ‘N255 – 18 – L241’. Likely this vase was made to commemorate German Luftwaffe veterans of WWI. Approx. 13 inches tall.
