Photo album from an Army soldier, probably a member of the Nachrichtentruppe / Signal Corps. The first page is captioned ‘Munich – Falaise’ (Normandy), shows the Porta Nigra in Trier, Le Mans, Falaise, signal training Troop 3, transfer of troops from Mezidon (Normandy) to Dessau, on to Litzmannstadt, Frampol, Radom, Lublin, photographs of Poles and horse drawn wagons, photographs of Jewish tombstones, a halftrack, vehicles maneuvering the mud, etc. Forty-eight photographs, 2.75 x 4 inches., album size is approx. 7 x 10.5 inches. Cloth cover, string bound, some soiling to the worn cover, bumped corners.
