(1878-1946) Generalfeldmarschall, first Minister of War and Commander-in-Chief of the German Armed Forces. He was forced to resign in 1938 when presented with evidence that his wife had posed in the past for pornographic photos. Signed Hoffmann postcard, late war printing, 4.25 x 6 inches, signed in black ink. The verso bears a typed inscription presenting the card to an unnamed individual for their birthday. Minor bumps to corners.
