(1920-1991) Soviet World War II fighter ace considered to be the highest-scoring Soviet and Allied fighter pilot of World War II. He was recognized as a Hero of the Soviet Union on three occasions. After WWII, he remained in the military and commanded the 324th Fighter Air Division during Soviet operations in the Korean War. An unissued graduation certificate for a graduate of the Suvorov Cadet Military Academy in Leningrad, signed by Kozhedub in black ink, June 26, 1981, 4 pp., 6 x 8.25 in.
