Chromolithograph of an oil painting of a pair of fighting eagles in flight, signed in print in lower right corner ‘[Otto] Sander-Herweg 1934’. 15 x 19 inches sight, mounted and framed under glass, in a simple wood frame 18 x 22 inches overall. There is a slight horizontal fold visible, showing as a blue line in the photograph, but less obvious to the naked eye. A small color stain in the lower half. Otto Sander-Herweg (1880 ?) was a German painter and graphic artist. He was a prolific propaganda artist during the Third Reich and worked at the Deutsche Propaganda Atelier. Not examined out of frame.
