Very large lot of over 100+ memorial postal stamps issued between 1956 and 1989 in East Germany under the International Memorial and Remembrance Fund. All stamps are organized according to an exhibit plan and grouped into four categories: Concentration and Labor Camp Issues; Issues for Cities Under Siege, Major Battles and Resistance Points; Memorial Issues to Victims of War, and Resistance in Occupied Countries; Post Re-Unification Issues. Most stamps belong to one exhibit, are set on gray paper, and are accompanied by brief descriptions. Excellent condition. Two stamps are placed on original envelopes that were mailed to Dusseldorf, Germany, and the USA. More images are available upon request. As-is.
