WWII AWARD DOCUMENTS FOR A PANZER GRENADIER (4)

Good lot of four award documents for Johann Burkhardt, Stabsgefreiter with the Panzer-Grenadier Regiment 10, who fought in Russia and Normandy. Includes award document for the Close Combat clasp in bronze 1 July 1943 for 15 close combat days, signed by Oberst Johannes Schulz (1892 – 1943); award document for the Iron Cross First Class 16 October 1944, with a stamped signature of Freiherr von Elverfeldt; award document for the Close Combat clasp in silver, 19 December 1944 for 30 close combat days, signed by Oberstleutnant Johann Reich (1898 – 1945); and an award document for the Eastern medal (Ostmedaille) issued 15 November 1944, retroactively awarded for 1 August 1942, also signed by Reich. All documents have folds and one is taped, worn as expected when kept in a Soldbuch on the battlefield.
