KOREAN WAR NAMED US SOLDIER GROUPING 25TH INFANTRY DIV
Excellent grouping of US ARMY SFC William H. Morse from Pennsylvania. According to the included documents, Morse enlisted in 1949, and was with the 25th Infantry Division in Korea from July 14, 1950, until Jun 6, 1951. The main relic is a large photo album with 152 black-and-white pictures, 3.5 x 5 in. each, filled with rare photographs showing Korean soldiers and victims being buried in mass graves, soldiers on the battlefield, Korean prisoners, tanks, pow’s forced to dig a road in the mud, two photographs showing a confederate flag flying above the US tent camp, machine gun trenches, mourning Koreans identifying dead bodies, and more. Included are his field jacket with a 25th Infantry Division shoulder patch, pants, and field shirt, and his garrison cap. Rounding out the group are his dog tags, five documents, an SFC patch, and a 25th Infantry Division shoulder patch. Excellent grouping.
