WWI 1914 IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS SILVER

German WWI 1914 Iron Cross First Class pillow back type in silver with pin back, maker marked AWS, pin is marked 800. The cross’s reverse reveals the ‘pillow’ design. Four small ‘pillows’ are placed around the decoration’s edges to form a smaller cross-shaped center, 44 mm across.
