(1894 – 1949) Marshal of the Soviet Union, Chief of Staff of the Crimean Front after the German invasion. Occupied Bulgaria, liberated Yugoslavia, Hungary, and took Vienna. Document, 2 pages, 1948, 11.5 x 8 in., signed by Fedor Tolbukhin on the bottom of the second page. A military attestation of Lieutenant Colonel Grigory Rodchenkov, commander of the 229th Separate Motorcycle Battalion of the 261st Infantry Division. Tolbukhin writes: ‘Cooperates in current position. (It is) Necessary to sent him to (military) courses. F. Tolbukhin’. Trimmed edges. Very good.
