Polish Medal of Victory and Freedom 1945 with ribbon and award certificate issued to Red Army soldier Naum Moiseyevich Khersonchuk. The medal was a Polish military decoration awarded to persons who fought during World War II against Nazi Germany. The obverse shows an eagle in the enter, the coat of arms of Poland, surrounded by the inscription: ‘Krajowa Rada Narodowa’. The reverse bears the inscription ‘R.P. Zwyciestwo I Wolnosc 9.V.1945’ (‘Polish Republic / Victory / And Freedom / 9 May 1945’). Attached is a ribbon, 35 mm wide, with three red stripes and two white stripes.
